We have posted this up on behalf of the friendly GGF admins. Please note this isnt an official QGaming event but is one most of our members will be attending.

With some new admins and new gear we are ready to get things back on track. GGF is still located at the amazing fully air con Strathpine Community Hall.
With the inlcusion of a few sponsors we will have prizes for competitions and draws. Hence the name GGF (Good Gaming Fun) we are all about gaming and not just about playing the latest and greatest games. We also encourage gamers to play some of the older games for a few laughs. We are look at rougly 70 gamers for the next Lan and looking to grow to over 100 in the near future.
Also internet will now be provided at the event. It is only a small amount of data and will only be used for steam usage. Please try to make sure your steam up to date before arriving.

It appears we need to reiterate a rule that has been with us since the beginning.
Anyone that is on the SourceBans list (http://www.gotgames.com.au/sb/) or VAC banned is unwelcome at our events for the duration of their ban. Cheating wrecks the game for everyone and is totally unacceptable within our community.
We have close ties with GotGames and we choose to enforce all bans they impose whether it relates to cheating or to a punishment arising from an issue within their competitions.
This is the first lan for the Lansmash guys this year and we are of course holding a CSS comp along side their several competitions. The date for this lan was originally 13th Feb but has now changed to the 6th/7th.
As per usual the lan will hold competitions in CSS, L4D, L4D2, TF2, Super Smash Brothers, Tekken 6 and Street Fighter 4. Also expect a few other games thrown in there if time permits!
There is also an iPod Touch for the lucky door prize at this event - so make sure you sign up asap!
